Who I am
My name is Melanie. I am 58 years old, and I am a Gitana, a Spanish Romani woman from Andalusia, in the south of Spain.
I was born into a family with deep roots in the esoteric and the magical. For as many generations back as anyone in my family can remember, we have been the ones people came to when they needed answers or help: the women who read the cards, lit the candles, said the prayers and performed the rituals. Tarot, witchcraft and ritual work have always been part of our home, as natural as cooking or prayer.
I learned it the way it has always been passed down in my family: by watching, by helping, and by practising, long before I understood how rare that was. What I do today is what my mother did, and her mother before her.
A family tradition, not a trend
In the Gitano tradition, this knowledge is not taken from a book. It is carried from one generation to the next, with its own ways of preparing an altar, its own prayers and chants, and its own sense of when the moment is right. Many of the rituals I perform for you are the same ones my family has performed for decades.
A few of them I keep especially close: the rituals that belong to my family's own way of working. You will find them marked as Gypsy family rituals. They are the ones I would choose for the people I love.
What I do today
I started doing this work for others when I was 24, and I have been doing it for 34 years now: first for people who found me by word of mouth and, later, for clients all over the world. I have completed more than 9,000 rituals. Each one began the same way: with a person, a story and a hope.
Every client who comes to me is more than a request. I put my heart into each ritual because your story matters to me. This is not only what I do. It is who I am, and who my family has always been.
What makes my work different
It is not that I promise results. In all these years I have seen extraordinary shifts: relationships restored, clarity found, lives changed. I have also seen rituals that did not bring what people hoped for. That is the truth, and you deserve to hear it before you spend anything.
What makes me different is that I stay honest, I stay present, and I offer support that goes beyond the ritual itself. If I do not think a ritual is right for your situation, I will tell you. If I think you need something different, I will point you to it.
How I work
- I read everything you share with me before I prepare anything. Your names and your story decide what goes on your altar.
- I prepare every altar by hand, with candles, symbols and prayers chosen for one person, and objects that have been passed down in my family.
- Nothing is pre-made, automated or reused from another client. Nobody else performs the work for me.
- Full moon rituals are performed on the night itself, while the moon is in the sky.
- You receive a photo of your finished altar and my written report in your private order page.
- I answer your questions afterwards, myself, from that same page.
What a ritual can and cannot do
A ritual is focused work toward an intention. It can open a way, clear what is heavy and give strength to something that already exists between two people. It cannot take away anyone's free will, and it cannot replace your own steps.
That is why I always ask you to be honest with me about your situation, and why I am always honest with you about what I see.
What I will not do
- Guarantee a result or give you a date for it.
- Use dark or harmful methods, or work against someone's free will.
- Wish harm on anyone, or try to break up a couple out of spite.
- Sell you a ritual I do not think fits your situation.
- Share your story with anyone. What you tell me stays between you and me.
